Returns Policy

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If for some reason you need to return your order, we are happy to offer a full refund on all online orders , returned to us within 14 days of receiving your order. Goods can be returned for an E-Gift Voucher within 28 days of receipt of, this will be emailed to you. 

How do I return an item purchased online ?

To return your order by post/courier, please follow the steps below to ensure a smooth process:

  • We recommend obtaining proof of postage and using a tracked service for all returns.
  • You are responsible for the item(s) until they reach us, so please ensure they are securely packed.
  • Do not tape the shoe box directly. All returns must be placed in their original box, which should then be placed inside a bag or parcel.
  • Make sure to include your returns form with your order number inside the parcel.
  • Please choose one of the approved return options listed below.

Important:
If you go directly to the Post Office without first purchasing a return through Click & Post, you will be charged by weight. Unfortunately, we cannot offer compensation for any additional postage costs incurred by not following the correct returns procedure.

An Post Click&Post

You can purchase a returns label on An Post.com/returns  With this option you can choose to have your item collected By An Post or drop it to you nearest post office. This service costs €4.95 if you drop off at a post office or €6.00 if you chose to have it collected by the postman.  This service must be organised and paid for online before you take your return to the post office to avail of this price. 

Here is a step-by-step guide for you:

  1. Click on this link Click&Post to be redirected to Click & Post.
  2. Select Shoeshop.ie (Cordners) as the retailer followed by the reason for your return and your order number.
  3. You can choose if you wish to drop your parcel off at your local An Post office or if you would like them to collect it from you. Whichever suits you best!
  4. Please enter your details and click the box if you agree to An Post’s terms and conditions.
  5. Click “Confirm Drop Off/Collection” to be directed to a secure payment page where you can enter your payment details.

Once you have filled out the necessary information online, you will be provided with a label you can print at home yourself & you will aslo receive an email from An Post with a unique barcode. You can then take this to your nearest post office who can scan this for you and print the label for you.

If you have booked a return for collection, you don’t have to print the label as An Post’s driver will supply it.

Drop2Shop*

  1. Click on this link to be redirected to DroptoShop
  2. Follow the instructions on the Drop2shop website & drop to your chosen location. 
  3. Please obtain a receipt from your drop off location as your proof of postage. 
  4. You will receive a return email from us as soon as we receive your parcel, this will be within 14 days of you dropping your return off.
  5. There will be a charge of €2.50 for this service which will be deducted from your refund.

*Please note: This service is only available in the Republic of Ireland. If using drop2shop please note returns can take up to 10 working days to be returned to us. 

Returning online Orders In Store

Retuns can be made free of charge in any of our stores,  Cordners Sligo, Navan and Mullingar and Strollers Sligo. 

Simply drop your package back to us with the original box and receipt and we will process a refund or exchange for you. Please note refunds will only be offered on online returns returned within 14 days of the delivery of your parcel. 

Northern Ireland Customers

Please email us at sales@shoeshop.ie or call us on +353(0)71 914 4872 and we will organise to have your parcel collected by DPD.

There will be a charge of €5.50 for this service which will be deducted from your refund.

Additional Returns Information

Returning Instore Purchases

We offer a refund on full price items purchased instore within 14 working days of the date of purchase.  Items must be returned as sold, in original packaging with a valid proof of purchase.  We offer exchange/ gift card on Reduced Priced items returned within 7 working days of purchase. There are no refunds on instore deposits, a credit note/gift card will be offered.  Please note there is no return on items purchased instore which are reduced by 50% or more.

This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.

Terms & Conditions for Online Returns

Goods returned must be in its original condition and packaging (e.g. box), with returns form enclosed. The product must be unused; handbags must have their original tag attached.
All returns will be inspected. We will send you a confirmation email stating that your return is being processed. The product price will be refunded by the original form of payment. We reserve the right to refuse a return if the product is returned in a condition that we deem unacceptable for re-sale i.e. if the product is clearly marked. We are not responsible for defects arising from misuse of the products. Any products of this nature will be returned back to you at your own cost.

If you wish to exchange sizes, please place a new order on the website and return your original purchase to us, for a refund. This will help provide a faster service to our customers.

If your suspect your product is defective in any way or you receive the incorrect product, Please notify us by email  at customerservice@shoeshop.ie within 24 hours of receiving the product. We will replace or refund you for the product. If you are returning worn goods to us that you suspect are faulty within 6 months of purchase, we ask that they are in a clean, sanitary condition for our staff to handle and inspect. Every effort is made to accurately display the correct shade of our footwear, but please note there may be variances to colours due to lighting. Also suppliers colour descriptions may vary from actual colours of footwear.  

You should expect to see your refund in your bank within 5 working days of receiving your confirmation email, however banks may differ. Please email us a sales@shoeshop.ie if you do not receive your refund after 14 working days of receiving our email. Any refunds will be completed by original form of payment. Please note we do not refund the cost of shipping.

This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods. You have the right to cancel your order under the consumer contract legislation June 2014. Please refer to citizens advice for further information.
