Returns Policy

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you are not, we are happy to offer a full refund on goods returned within 14 days of receiving your order. 

We have extended our Returns Policy to allow ANY CHRISTMAS GIFTS purchased from 1st November 2020 to be returned for EXCHANGE OR GIFT CARD INSTORE OR ONLINE when accompanied with a valid RECEIPT until 9th January 2021.   

How do I return an item?

Return by Post

We recommend that you obtain a proof of postage and use a tracking service for all returns. All returns are your responsibility until they reach us, so we would appreciate it if you could ensure that they are securely placed in a bag. Please use one of the following options to return your item.  Please note, you will be charged by weight if you go directly into the Post Office. We are not in a position to offer compensation for extra postage cost incurred  to those who do not follow the below returns procedures. Please contact us on info@shoeshop.ie if you need some help.

Click&Post*

If you wish to return your order, we recommend doing so by purchasing a label on An Post's click&post service. This service costs €4.95 & is payable by card directly with An Post. With this option you can chose to have your item collected or drop it to you nearest post office.

Here is a step-by-step guide for you:

  1. Click on this link Click&Post to be redirected to Click & Post.
  2. Click on book a return, Select shoeshop.ie (Cordners) as the retailer followed by the reason for your return and your order number.
  3. You can choose if you wish to drop your parcel off at your local An Post office or if you would like them to collect it from you. Whichever suits you best!
  4. Please enter your details and click the box if you agree to An Post’s terms and conditions.
  5. Click “Confirm Drop Off/Collection” to be directed to a secure page where you can enter your payment details.

Once you have filled out the necessary information online, you will be provided with a unique code.  You can then take this to your nearest post office to get the label printed and post your return.

If you have booked a return for collection, you don’t have to print the label as An Post’s driver will supply it. 

Return using ReturnMyShopping.ie*

  1. Click on this link ReturnMyShopping.ie. You will need a printer to use this service.
  2. Scroll down to Shoeshop.ie on the first drop down list and select.
  3. Select your reason for returning the item on the second drop down list. Select continue.
  4. Select I will drop off at a Post Office or Please collect from my address if you live in Dublin.
  5. Type in your order reference number into the next box. This will begin with CS. Fill in your details. Press Continue.
  6. Tick the box if you accept the An Post's terms & conditions.
  7. Complete and Pay.

Additional Returns Information

Return In Store

Retuns can be made free of charge in any of our stores,  Cordners Sligo, Navan and Mullingar and Strollers Sligo. Simply drop your package back to us with the original box and receipt and we will process a refund or exchange for you.

Northern Ireland Customers

Please call us on +353(0)71 914 4872 or email us at sales@shoeshop.ie and we will organise to have your parcel collected by Fastway the next day.

There will be a charge of €5.50 for this service which must be paid before we can organise the collection.

Terms & Conditions for Online Returns

Goods returned must be in its original condition and packaging (e.g. box), with returns form enclosed. The product must be unused; handbags must have their original tag attached.
All returns will be inspected. We will send you a confirmation email stating that your return is being processed. The product price will be refunded by the original form of payment. We reserve the right to refuse a return if the product is returned in a condition that we deem unacceptable for re-sale i.e. if the product is clearly marked. We are not responsible for defects arising from misuse of the products. Any products of this nature will be returned back to you.

We are happy to exchange sizes, provided the footwear is unworn. You will need to return your first purchase to us, we will inspect them & then send the exchange out to you. Please note any exchanges under the value of €49.00 in Ireland & Northern Ireland & under €79.00 in the U.K. will be charged postage on exchanges.

If your product is defective in any way or you receive the incorrect product, Please notify us by email straight away at customerservice@shoeshop.ie wihtin 24 hours of receiving the product. We will replace or refund you for the product. Please note that we do not refund postage costs except in the case of a faulty product or an incorrect delivery & only those returned to us using An Post's returnmyshopping.ie service.

You should expect to see your refund in your bank within 5 working days of receiving your confirmation email, however banks may differ. Please email us a sales@shoeshop.ie if you do not receive your refund after 14 working days of receiving our email. Any refunds will be completed by original form of payment. Please note on orders under €49 the cost of shipping will not be refunded.

This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods. You have the right to cancel your order under the consumer contract legislation June 2014. Please refer to citizens advice for further information.
